Danish Big Day...Also For Mama & Papa...

The long awaited day has finally come..tomorrow Danish is going to set his feet for the first time at the nursery..This is the most anticipating, frightening, exciting moment for my husband and I..We don't know what to expect from Danish..will he be ok..will he cry for the whole day? Will he still waits for me at the gate as usual working days...I don't know...I pray to Allah agar everything will be fine for Danish and us...
The nursery is about 5 minutes from our house..It is called "Anak Soleh Bistari"..From my point of view..the place is good enough for any mother to leave their love ones while they're working...Harga mahal sikit from usual tapi I think it is berpatutan..The teachers seem experienced and loving...the compound is clean and environment mcm rumah kita...
It's just not an ordinary nursery..they have activities for our kids..and the best is the activities are Islamic base...the teachers converse in English and I think that the headmistress was probably a teacher..She seems like one..hehehee
Anyway..I hope Danish will be happy here..learn & make friends...I will remember this day and remember it as Danish first step of being independant...

Danish's first Quranic lesson

Yesterday i taught my son his first quranic lesson using the iqra' 1 book...well..everything went quite smooth...we started off with d first jawi letter up to the 7th letter...danish likes it..it crossed my mind that perhaps it's time for him to learn all this..yg susahnya..belajar skit..pas tuh main skit...dlm agama pun cakap..masa umur ni..mengajar sambil bermain...baru anak2 tak fed-up...
kita ni sometimes preoccupied mengejar dunia...smpi lupa nak ajar bende yg wajib anak2 tau..ye tak?is this a sign of aging???hahahahaa

This segment is specially written for Wawa, my dearest friend from PPP/ITM. She was married on 27th January 2008 in Ipoh...We were quite closed during our days in PPP/ITM...now she's married and probably i'm going to lost contact with her later...I write this just to remind me of her...on one of her best days...all d best in your marriage life... 
no pics coz my camera batteries "kong"..lupa nak charge before going to kenduri..haiya..

Danish 3rd Tricycle from Kota Bharu..

We went back to my husband hometown in KB for 4 days...we had a pleasant journey from kl-kb and vice versa coz danish created the least problems during the 10 hour journey ..he is almost 2 and half years now...dah besar dah...dah cerdik skit..
Danish fancies cars..tak kira la toy ke, actual car ke..whenever we stop we had to buy a toy car for him..tu kat rumah i guess he has almost 30 cars tp majority all less than rm5 each...hehehe...tak tau la kenapa dia suka sgt kat kereta ngan bike ...we also had to buy him another tricycle in kb and surprisingly it just costs us rm 60..my brother bought exactly the same bike for rm 200 in kl...nasib baik it is quite small so we can succesfully brought it back to kl with our car...
no pics this time as i totally forgot to pack my camera into the luggage...what a waste...actually i wanted to snap few photos of pasar siti khatijah (view from top)..maybe next time...we wanted to spend a nite in cherating..tp last minute cancel coz we reached there almost 7 pm...nak main laut apa lagi time tu..jumpa hantu laut boleh la..
i'll upload danish car collections and bicycles whenever i am free nanti...

My mum turned 61

Happy Birthday to my mum..she turned 61 on 20th January 2008...We threw a smashing birthday party for her...We had KFC and Black Forest cake for the party and bought her a new Alain Delon watch & sk-ii set..(kongsi adik beradik, kalau sorang mau koyak poket aku).. ...wish her all best & semoga panjang umur...luv u mama...well dlm seronok2 ni teringat my dad yg dah nearly 4 years pass away  ...kalau hidup..he's going to be 61 jugak on 5th March ni...semoga Allah cucuri rahmat dia dan tempatkan dia bersama org yg soleh..amin...

Today is the 10th of Syawal...it's not too late yet to wish all muslims Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri...Actually, I'm in the middle of writing up my thesis... ..curi masa nak jot down in my fotopages..
We went back to my parents hometown in Perlis (to be precise Kampung Kubang Gajah & Behor Gandil ) on raya eve..surprisingly the traffic was quite smooth on that day..but on way back to KL...pergh...the traffic was terrible...nak balik ngan flight tak best plak sbb tak boleh berjln ke mana sbb takde kereta...tapi..raya cuma setahun sekali..nak mengamuk masa jam raya pun cuma setahun sekali.. ...no hal lah..
Seronok balik kg raya ni..I got to see most of my cousins yg mostly memang warga utara...and some of my uncles yg dah few years tak jumpa...on top of that, it was hilarious watching danish strolling around the kg..going after chickens, ducks..cats..  ....berebut basikal ngan his cousins la...mcm2...kidsss...balik kg baru boleh dengar the real sound of meriam buluh...ntah anak sapa hilang jari kat kg tuh... 
Besides raya, I noticed some positive progress on my darling danish..his speech dah a bit clear...these are few words yg dia cakap which i would like to remember sampai tua nanti..such a wonderful experience...
cikit aaa - nak sikit larr
akit - sakit
anyam - ayam
beg - beg
itik - itik
ucu - pak su (my brother)
ajah - mak long (my eldest sister) - mana dia dpt ajah ni pun aku tak tau... 
ball - bola
satu, dua, tiga...
nak shushu...
I am happy..coz eventhough he was a bit slow before (jalan lambat) tp sekarang, i think he's catching up at quite fast pace...just like other toddlers...One important trait of Danish ni- he's lefthanded...He has great affection on arts and music...and sgt berminat on electronics and mechanical stuffs..insyaAllah he'll be successful one day....
I got few photos of my raya reunion...enjoy looking at it ya!!

I love watching flowers..full of colours and simply beautiful...but ironically i hate gardening...not hate but just not good at it...well..gardening just don't genetically inherited kot..my mum is real good at gardening..apa je dia tanam mesti jadik..campak pun jadik..that's why we call them MUM kot..
i took my husband and son to floria 2007...to watch the flowers from all over d world...bila la nak dapat rezeki ke europe..eager to capture photo of flowers there...tengok gambar org pun dah terliur..hehehe....
